- The hotel selected is the Doubletree near the Galleria (this is a luxury hotel!! See map below).
- We have reserved 15 non-smoking guest rooms for our class, and can probably reserve more if we make our request soon enough.
- There are several room types available at the same special rate of $79.00 each, plus tax. This same rate is available up to three days prior to, and three days after our dates. (For anyone wanting to spend a day at the fair, the fair will be closed after Sunday the 19th)
- Everyone is to make their own reservations and financial arrangements with the hotel (sooner is better than later).
- Be sure to identify yourself as part of "WW Jan '55 Reunion Group". The hotel phone number is 1-972-385-9000.
- Hotel parking (right in front of the hotel) is free and there should be plenty of it. Valet parking is available but probably not needed for most. Free shuttle service is available to over 150 nearby restaurants, and two malls.
- As you enter the hotel, there is a large open area (with adjacent bar), where classmates can gather at any time. This includes classmates who do not stay at the hotel. (This will be the area we gather in on Friday afternoon, and also on Saturday before we have our official reunion.)
